ABOUT US

PharmaCamp is an organization that aims to connect pharmaceutical and biotech companies with top talents in Switzerland by arranging networking events.

These events typically attract graduates, PhDs and PostDoc scientists who are eager to explore career paths outside of academia and engage with industry leaders.

Who can participate? PhDs, PostDocs, last year master's students and recent graduates

Organising Team

Adele is a formulation scientist turned Business Development Manager and an avid award-winning science communicator who loves connecting with new people. Her background: a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology and a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration. She appeared on various media outlets thanks to her impressive outreach work: in press, on television, on radio and in a podcast. Fun fact, you might coincidentally catch her performing on stage in a theatre piece, in musicals or in a choir!

Adèle Rakotonirina

Gabriela is part of a selective dual degree program from the University of Strasbourg, which allows her to do her MSc at the same time of her pharmacy studies. Gabriela holds a MSc in Biomedicine and her master’s thesis was done in Li Tang’s lab at the EPFL. She will become a Doctor in Pharmacy in September of this year. In her free time, she practices fit-training and boxing and learning more about sciences!

Marketing Coordinator

Frédéric is a computational chemist graduated from Sorbonne University and specializing in biophysics and data science, focusing on complex biological systems and chemical catalysis. After his postdoc at EPFL and serving as the BioScience Network Lausanne coordinator, he joined the PharmaCamp association to contribute to its growth with his passion for innovation and community. Outside of work, Frédéric enjoys curling and gardening, actively participating in the Curling Club Morges and leading “Ecojardins Morges.”

Frederic Celerse

Event coordinator

Carlos is President and Head of Events Management of PharmaCamp. Prior to joining Pharmacamp, he was an elected student representative at the Friedrich Miescher Institute in Basel, where he completed his doctoral studies with Nico Thomä. Carlos holds a BSc in chemistry, a MSc in molecular biology and a PhD in biomedicine. In his free time, he is a competitive athlete and enjoys learning about business operations and strategy.
