ABOUT
PharmaCamp bridges top young talents and pharmaceutical companies, providing the opportunity to showcase your creative problem-solving and presentation skills. This competitive platform will be the perfect place for companies to meet the most prospective young minds and their potential future coworkers.
Who can participate ? Students, PhDs, PostDocs and recent graduates
Three days event:
· Day 1: Open for the public, giving you a chance to learn more about new trends such as the personalised & precision medicine field. As attendees, you will gain valuable insights into the evolving landscape of the pharmaceutical industry and the intersection of technology and medicine.
· Day 2: Selected participants will engage in a realistic case challenge from pharmaceutical companies. Register via the Google form in the "Apply now" button, to have the opportunity to gain valuable insights, into the pharmaceutical field and to enhance your public speaking abilities.
· Day 3: Teams will be given time to brainstorm and prepare their presentations. Each team will have the chance to convince an expert panel that their solution is the most impactful and promising.

Organising Team
Carlos is President and Head of Events Management of PharmaCamp. Prior to joining Pharmacamp, he was an elected student representative at the Friedrich Miescher Institute in Basel, where he completed his doctoral studies with Nico Thomä. Carlos holds a BSc in chemistry, a MSc in molecular biology and a PhD in biomedicine. In his free time, he is a competitive athlete and enjoys learning about business operations and strategy.

Sara is a PhD Candidate at the University of Bern and Inselspital and works in the field of hemostasis and inflammation with a focus on septic disorder. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, tennis and connecting with people.

Gabriela is part of a selective dual degree program from the University of Strasbourg, which allows her to do her MSc at the same time of her pharmacy studies. Gabriela holds a MSc in Biomedicine and her master’s thesis was done in Li Tang’s lab at the EPFL. She will become a Doctor in Pharmacy in September of this year. Asma is completing her master's thesis at the University of Bern on Zebrafish heart regeneration. In addition to having a great interest in therapeutic approaches and translational sciences, I am passionate about swimming and cooking, as well as having an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a love for learning new things.

Mina Hanna holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Master's in Molecular Biology. With a thriving five-year career in the biopharmaceutical industry across various departments, Mina transitioned to academia in 2021. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Life Sciences at the University of Lausanne, his research focuses on ion channels pharmacology, with a particular emphasis on developing ion channel-based biosensors.

Ali is a PhD candidate at EPFL, studying computational and quantitative biology. He applies statistical methods on genomics data to understand the underlying mechanisms of biological systems. Last year, he joined Roche as a summer intern to work on novel drug discovery using machine learning. In his free time, he enjoys dancing, hiking, and watching anime.

Antonia is a last-year pharmacy student at Strasbourg University, following a Master's Degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology and undertaking her graduate traineeship at the regional pharmacovigilance center in Geneva. Alongside her interest in drug safety and regulatory affairs, she enjoys spending her free time reading, hiking, playing guitar, learning new languages and bouldering.

Andraž has finished his PhD in organic chemistry at the University of Pavia, Italy. During his doctoral and master’s studies, he was able to gain more experience in organic synthesis and methodology with research visits in Germany, the United States, and Japan.
